These products are designed to install polyethylene ducting using expanding jaws to grip the inside diameter of the duct while the outside diameter is prevented from stretching by a permanent outer sleeve on the Puller. The outer sleeve also provides a complete watertight seal around the ducting preventing any fluids or contaminants from entering either the duct or the pulling eye. Series 00650 DUB-Wise Pullers are designed for pulling non-metallic duct. The DUB-Wise pulls, seals (tested to over 60 p.s.i.), and prevents the duct from stretching utilizing the outer body. This design also features a full size rear-eye for back loads. The pulling head is manufactured from alloy steel and is designed to protect the mechanism form heavy knocks or side loads. It is also fully sealed to prevent fluid entry. Care should be taken at all times not to exceed the yield value of the ducting since this may cause permanent deformation to the duct as well as loss of integrity of the polyethylene. These Duct Pullers are installed quickly and easily and require no special tooling. A new tooth profile makes removal much easier than the earlier models. Duct wall thickness is normally designated by an SDR value. The lower the SDR value, the heavier the wall thickness. The 00650 Series Duct Pullers can be used on SDR 9 through SDR 21 thickness.
