DCD Design & Manufacturing Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Cable Spinning Equipment Company, Inc. of New London, Minnesota.

The Cable Spinning Equipment (CSE) product line was centered around their Cable Lashers which have been in production since the early 1940’s.   The first patents on any Lashers were filed in 1940 by Mr. Dory J. Neale (founder of CSE) and since then, CSE has continued to design and produce Lashers of the highest quality. 

“It is this attention to quality and design that has brought our two companies together,” said David Clifton, Vice President & General Manager with DCD.   “With an already comprehensive product line for Underground Cable Installation, DCD will, through the coming months, develop a similarly comprehensive line for the Overhead market – and this will be centered around the existing CSE products.  CSE has 65 years of tradition which we are privileged  to continue.”

Mr. John Innes, VP Operations for CSE, with 42 years experience in Cable Lasher manufacturing, will continue with DCD as VP Overhead Products and will focus on Lasher sales and training and on expanding current market share.

With this addition to their product line, DCD will offer one of the most comprehensive Cable Installation lines available anywhere. 

Canadian-based DCD Design & Manufacturing Ltd. has established a new corporation in the USA,  DCD Design & Manufacturing, Inc.
