Do you have a Lineman Lasher or an Eagle Lasher, and need extra protection to prevent branches from interfering with your lashing? How about an extra handle to help with passing the unit around a pole? Or possibly you need extra drop protection?
DCD has been working on a new product for these Lashers to achieve these results. Introducing the Halo guard, an inexpensive Lasher accessory that easily mounts to the front of your machine. This guard is designed to sit at the leading edge of your machine, so that branches and other obstacles are pushed out of the way during lashing and are less likely to be caught up in the entrance of the machine. The lower portion remains open, allowing clearance for your tow rope. The handle is mounted with four bolts, allowing it to be sturdy enough to be used as a handle for two handed operation, or to ease passing the machine from one person to another or around a pole, on the ground or in the air.
On the Lineman model, the halo guard can also be used in conjunction with our lower brush guard (61436-000), which encloses the lower portion of the lasher, providing additional protection from obstacles below. The guard can be ordered with a new machine, or if you already own a lasher, you can be confident it will fit your Lineman or Eagle lasher with no drilling or modifications required. Just ask for the Eagle Halo Ring Guard kit (61773-000) or the Lineman Halo Ring Guard kit (61442-000) to suit your particular machine.
