The rigid connection allows for more straightforward pushback, but it also places a more severe side loading on the swivel.<br \/>\n<strong>Type 6<\/strong> swivels (Stub-e-DUB\u2122) have a mounting flange allowing assembly into the reamer itself, to reduce the gap back to the utility being installed.  These 5 to 40 ton swivels are totally self contained and greaseable.<br \/>\n<strong>Type 7<\/strong> swivels offer a male Pin connection to the reamer or hole opener ahead of the swivel in sizes from 5 to 40 tons.
