We have seen many changes through this time. In 1986, DCD Design began operations in a warehouse and office that was just over 4000 Sq. Ft.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/30th-anniversary-building-1.jpg\" alt=\"Original DCD building\" width=\"591\" height=\"436\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2721\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As the Utility and Cable Installation industries and demand for our product grew, we realized we needed to move into a larger facility. So in 1999, we moved into our current location on McMillan Way in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/30th-anniversary-building-2.jpg\" alt=\"DCD Warehouse\" width=\"591\" height=\"436\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2719\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In June of 2013, we expanded our warehouse by taking over the vacant warehouse space next door to our facility:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/30th-anniversary-building-3.jpg\" alt=\"DCD Warehouse\" width=\"591\" height=\"436\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2718\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, the space didn\u2019t stay empty long&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/30th-anniversary-building-4.jpg\" alt=\"DCD Warehouse stuffed full\" width=\"591\" height=\"436\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As of today, DCD operates out of a 24,000 Sq.
