{"id":2860,"date":"2017-01-27T15:01:08","date_gmt":"2017-01-27T23:01:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/?p=2860"},"modified":"2020-04-03T16:57:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-03T23:57:07","slug":"dcd-unveils-new-specialty-dub-swivels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/blog\/dcd-unveils-new-specialty-dub-swivels\/","title":{"rendered":"DCD Unveils New Specialty DUB-Swivels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The engineers at DCD have designed and developed several new DUB-Swivels, ranging from an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/specialty-dub-swivels.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">auger boring version<\/a> (Type 9) to what we&#8217;re calling <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dcddesign.com\/specialty-dub-swivels.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Clutch Swivels<\/a>, which have locking sleeves that can allow free rotation and the transmission of torque up to 27,500 ft-lbs. Some of the Clutch Swivels also have a through-bore feature that allows drilling fluid to pass through the swivel at pressures up to 1500 psi.<\/p>\n<p>These are heavy-duty, state-of-the-art designs that add a versatile touch to our DUB-Swivel line.
