Lasher Accessories

The Lineman Halo brush guard is designed to clip onto your Lineman lasher to completely enclose the lashing chamber. Situated behind the tow rope anchor points to avoid interference with the tow rope, this guard helps keep branches and obstacles out of the machine during lashing, and provides extra assurance that the unit will not fall off the strand when overlashing. The brush guard can also be used in conjunction with the Halo Ring Guard.

When overlashing, the strand is already lashed to the cable and is no longer accessible for latching on with the strand lock. The overlash assembly will compensate by adjusting down to the already lashed bundle to provide stability and guide the machine. It mounts to the front of your Lineman lasher and can be adjusted down to the existing cable, accommodating a bundle as large as 3” diameter.

Both the Eagle lasher and Lineman lasher come standard with a tow rope. However, a replacement can be ordered if required.

The wire spool plastic guard is intended for use with the Lineman Lasher (61400-000) and can be inserted over top of the lashing wire spool and under the lashing wire flange. This allows the flange to be tightened even more securely and provides good grip on tough-to-use lashing wires, preventing twisting or bunching of the lashing wire while the spool is in the machine.

The Rear Gate guides and supports the cable exiting the lasher up towards the strand to aid in the lashing process. If the rear gate is damaged, a replacement is available.

The oversize strand lock is designed to work with your Lineman Lasher as a replacement to the standard strand lock on the unit. This strand lock also locks your unit to the strand and uses the same style rollers to reduce friction, but allows for a strand size up to 1” in diameter. To install, remove the bumper plate to gain access to the four bolts securing the strand lock on your machine. Remove these four bolts and install the oversize strand lock. Re-install the bumper plate.

This oversize strand lock works with your Eagle lasher, for strand sizes up to 7/8” in diameter. Similar to the Lineman oversize strand lock, simply remove the bumper plate and swap out the strand lock to allow your unit to latch onto strands of the larger size.

This guard is designed to sit at the leading edge of your machine, so that branches and other obstacles are pushed out of the way during lashing and are less likely to be caught up in the entrance of the machine. The lower portion remains open, allowing clearance for your tow rope. The handle is mounted with four bolts, allowing it to be sturdy enough to be used as a handle for two handed operation, or to ease passing the machine from one person to another or around a pole, on the ground or in the air.

Similar to the Lineman Halo Ring guard, the Eagle Halo ring guard comes with additional adapter plates to fit your machine, and provides the same protection against obstacles and impact, and provides the same handling convenience.
