These Pullback Swivels are designed specifically for small bore Directional Drilling applications. The swivels feature a multiple sealing system which is progressive in design and application. This swivel includes a side mounted grease nipple for easy access without having to remove the clevis pin. Greasing should be done after each use.

The HDD Breakaway Swivel is similar to our 00550 Series and yet designed around our 00503-208 DUB-Lite Swivel. It is only 1-1/2" longer than the 00503-208 Dub-Lite Swivel, but still 5" shorter than the alternative of using the Dub-Lite and a Breakaway Connector together. *Uses 00565 pins. This style of pullback swivel is specifically designed for directional drilling applications. It is intended to be mounted internally into a back reamer using a bolt flange. This type of swivel permits rotation of the drill pipe while protecting the utility from twisting.

Type 7 swivels offer a pin connection to the reamer or hole-opener ahead of the swivel. There are several different types and sizes of threaded connections. The rigid connection allows more straightforward pushback, but it also places a greater side load on the swivel.
