Manhole Tools

DCD has a comprehensive line of Manhole products. Their Manhole Brace has the strength to be used at either the entry or exit end of the installation, it contains several different quadrants including a fiber optic unit, flexible cable guides, single and double hangers, duct entry guides etc. A wire rope guide is offered with hardened steel rollers mounted on ball bearings for smooth rotation under load. Many hanger parts are interchangeable for convenience.

All these products are designed to withstand heavy-duty loads at both ends of the pull.

All sheaves are aluminum castings, machined for correct balance and fitted with heavy duty, self-lubricating SAE863 iron-bronze bushings. These have more than twice the load bearing capacity of traditional bronze bushings.

All components are powder coated and are designed with the end user in mind. Bolt heads are recessed, corners all have smooth radii and carrying handles are included where possible. Several parts are polyurethane, giving higher strength and durability than aluminum.
