DCD Design being a manufacturing company, we often hear numerous sounds in the plant during the day. Usually at night it’s peaceful and quiet. Late one evening, one of our production workers was working away and thought he was beginning to have signs that he should go home because he was losing it, he thought he heard the meows of a kitty cat, sure enough, after some intense investigation with another co-worker, a kitten was found.

The kitten was very young, and timid. We assume he must have come in during the day while our doors we’re open and decided to stay. See pictures above. Food and water was given, and he stayed for about a week. After numerous attempts to catch our new friend which includes stopping all production late in the afternoon we were unable to catch him. We contacted the Richmond Animal Protection Society (RAPS), and a few hours later our furry friend was off to North America’s largest wild cat sanctuary for a bath and to be allocated to a new home.
